The grounds are beautiful, and the beach is about a 75-yard walk away, great for sunsets. The rooms are angled to catch more of the ocean view, unlike many Kihei condos that face each other directly. The beach here has very little coral compared with nearby properties to the south. There's a big reef in this area, so it's good for kids to play in the ocean, but too shallow for boogie boarding or maybe even snorkeling. The pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub are great, and the grills are excellent and always in good shape. They could use more pool chairs, and some side tables would be nice. Azeka shopping center is less than a mile away, with excellent restaurants, food trucks, and Times grocery. The property is very clean and well maintained. We'd definitely stay again.
We had a stunning ocean view and a lovely room with two full beds and two bathrooms. The resort is centrally located on S Kihei road, close to just about everything. The pool was basic but nice, though it could stay open a little later than 9 p.m. Since it's a timeshare, there was no towel exchange service during our eight-day stay. We felt we needed one exchange.
We weren't told about the scheduled roach spraying until we were already in the unit, and then we had to leave the room. They wouldn't clean it afterward, so we had to wipe everything down, wash the bed linens, and air the place out. There are kids here. 😢
This unit is old and run down, and not worth what they charge. The broken screen door lets bugs in, and tiny ants crawl over anything left out in the kitchen. The shower was dirty. The fridge light didn't work, some microwave buttons and settings were broken, and the toaster barely worked, burning half the toast and setting off the alarm. The tea kettle was rusty and a few knives were broken.
Great experience, with wonderful views and plenty of amenities. There's shuffleboard, gas grills, a pool area, and a huge soft lawn before the beach.
