The room itself was nice, with an awesome ocean view from the lanai, and the beach was perfect. It had plates, cups, pans, an air fryer, toaster, microwave, stove, refrigerator, iron, washer, and dryer. There were two beach chairs, a wave board, and a noodle for guests to use. We appreciated the half bottle of laundry soap, bag of sugar packets, and lotion and hair products under the sink when we realized we'd forgotten a few things. Check-in was easy with the emailed details, and the private parking space meant no searching for a spot. There was a garbage chute on every floor, a relaxing pool with loungers, an outdoor shower to rinse off sand, and a shady yard to sit or read in with an ocean view. The room lacked Hawaii themes and felt dull and depressing. The ocean is on one side and the street on the other, and it was extremely noisy. The room was individually owned, and I won't do this again. During our 20-day stay, there was pounding and tearing things out, drywall going up, cleaning crews scrubbing with hoses, work trucks in the lot, and furniture being moved between floors every day. The noise ruined the whole vibe. The elevator was out of service twice, the water was shut off twice for up to two hours, and pest control came in to spray all the rooms. After ten days there, I was relaxing naked in the living room with my husband after swimming and showering when a woman walked in without knocking. Apparently she'd been told to pick up a Pack 'n Play for another guest. She said she didn't know anyone was inside, but that's why you knock. There was no excuse. It could have gone very badly for her. We did receive a small credit without asking. If you want to relax, I'd try somewhere else. Without the noise and the woman walking in, with a fake plant on the dining table for some color and a secure screen door, it could be nice. Individual owners aren't something the property can control. Is it 7 a.m. or 7 p.m.? There are no soda or snack machines.
