We were in room 308, a beautiful, updated unit right on the beach. The owner is outstanding. My husband's father actually prefers this unit to his own rental 😉

The location worked out great, with shopping and the best shave-ice right across the street. The condo was clean, comfy, well maintained, and had a nice kitchen stocked with everything we needed. We spent one evening having a cookout on the rooftop and watching gorgeous sunsets. The beach was great for snorkeling, and we swam with awesome sea turtles. I wish I’d taken more pictures of the condo, my suite mates’ rooms, and the kitchen. It was a nice place to stay, and we enjoyed our week.
The location is the strongest point of the RM. It sits between two amazing beaches, just steps away, and also has a rooftop deck, private pool, lovely landscaping, and a parking spot. There’s complimentary coffee and tea at certain hours too. The downside is the noisy street nearby. Our unit didn’t have air conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open. At least that meant hearing the lovely waves!?
We found the building quiet, and our unit was comfortable and well stocked. A small trail system gives easy access to Kamelaole 1 and 2. The rooftop patio is a perfect place to watch the sunset.
Any store or restaurant we needed was just across the street, and the views and sunsets from our own Lana'i were breathtaking. We had an ocean-facing two-bedroom, two-bath condo overlooking Kameole 1 Beach. We don’t think there’s a better condo location in Kihei. It’s a fantastic place to stay, and we’ll always try to return to the Royal Mauian.
