Wailea Inn

The location made our week at Wailea Inn easy. A couple of beaches and activity areas are a two-minute walk away, and there are more than 15 restaurants within a 4-10 minute walk. Foodland is six minutes away, and a protected turtle beach is just a minute and a half across the street. Follow the path toward the ocean, turn left at the T, then take the first path on the right. The kitchens are practical and had lots of what we needed, and the grill was a nice extra. Thanks to Matt for helping us book a sunset dinner cruise. The property was perfect for our group, and I’d highly recommend it for a Maui vacation.

Our kids are already asking to go back for Christmas. We’ve stayed at both Wailea Inn and Villas by the Cove, which I believe are owned by Makoa Resorts, and both have been phenomenal. They’re beautiful, immaculately clean, and just a short walk across the street from the beach. We walked over daily with our kids and the provided cooler, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and other gear. Shahaf is always available if you need anything. I’d recommend either place to anyone, and we’re grateful for such a wonderful stay.

A good choice for a retreat, family reunion, or another big group. It’s across the street from the beach, with lovely living spaces and kitchens, laundry areas, a pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, a grill, and a covered deck.

The renewable energy setup was an added bonus, and I really respect that this was the first vacation rental we’ve stayed at that runs on it. The Wailea Inn gave us an amazing stay, with attentive managers and staff who checked that we had what we needed each day. The amenities exceeded our expectations. The penthouse had a beautiful, spacious kitchen with all the necessities, and the property supplied beach chairs, snorkeling gear, umbrellas, and boogie boards for a great day at the nearby beach. I’d highly recommend it to friends and family.
