The room was small but clean and updated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of towels and soap. It has a keypad lock instead of a card key. Management was friendly, parking was extremely tight, and there's a dog walking area with poop bags. The place is pet friendly and reasonably priced, and I'd stay again for a night. There wasn't quick or easy beach access, though Jolly Roger's restaurant is a couple of doors away. Our AC was cold, but falling apart: water constantly drained onto the floor, the cover hung down, and you could see outside through it. The thermostat was troublesome too. At 62* it was cold, but at 64* it shut off for a long time and the room reached 80* before it came back on. The wall lamps beside the bed and the recessed lights by the entrance were both very bright and hard on the eyes.

For the price, it was fantastic. We stayed one night with our dog, and the small room was clean and had what we needed. It works well if you don't plan to spend much time in the room.

It's an old motel and adequate for a few days, as long as you set your expectations first. Nothing is new. We were there to fish and explore most days, and the AC kept things cool. The beds are hard, so maybe keep the stay to a few days?

A hole in the blinds sat about level with the top of the bed, leaving a direct line of sight to guests in other parts of the building. Police were there late, I guess because of some kind of disturbance. It was clean, but nothing special, just cheap and effective.

We were traveling the East coast in winter and found this place. Rahul was very kind and helpful at check-in. It's an old motel, so the room was quaint, but it was nicely furnished and very clean. There's a beach access point right across the road. I'd recommend it to anyone.
