The location is a plus, right down the road from Killington. The room was nice, but hot water was limited while we were there. Water from the sinks and showers also had a lot of minerals and looked slightly brown. Seems like it’s been an issue for a while.

BRING PLENTY OF WATER!!!! At the time of our stay there was a warning posted about contaminated drinking water. Nobody mentioned it when we booked or checked in, and there was no clean water supplied in the unit for drinking or cooking. We had a one-bedroom unit, and the price was amazing for what you get. It’s a roomy place with plenty of towels and dishes, lots of couch, counter and table space, and great TVs. The fireplace made it feel cozy. The king size bed was comfortable, but keeping its two mattresses together and avoiding the gap between them was ridiculous. It’s minutes from Killington and Pico Ski Areas, easy to reach, and there’s a light at Killington Road. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, with plenty of well-lit parking. It was mostly quiet, though we were there off-season. The unit was clean except for the dishes, utensils and pans, which unfortunately seems common in rentals with kitchens. The master shower head was completely clogged, but maintenance replaced it the same day. There were also leaks around the showers and kitchen sink. Hopefully those get fixed soon, because the water is damaging the lovely remodel. At least the unit had lots of towels. Having a washer and dryer was a welcome bonus. There was a recycling bin inside, which was exciting, but they don’t actually recycle on the property. Bummer. Outside, there’s a cute little patio with an electric BBQ, table and chairs for warmer weather. Ski and snowboard storage racks were available in the main hall, but there’s no coat rack for wet winter gear, which always baffles me about ski town places. I really loved the unit. It felt as close to home as you could hope for, and I’d stay again.
It felt like a little apartment, with a separate bedroom, its own bathroom and laundry, plus a bed and couch in the living area. There was a full kitchen and dining area too. The main bathroom had an amazing shower, though the drain seemed clogged and the room flooded. One towel rack was broken and on the floor when we arrived. Pretty nice overall, but it needs some maintenance.
The property was generally nice and well kept, but a few things in our room were irritating. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly, the shower head didn’t work fully, and the remote controls had been left without batteries by the previous guests. They weren’t replaced. Those are minor issues and clearly may not affect every room, so I can still give it 4 out of 5 stars.
We arrived after a drive of more than four hours to an icy, dark parking lot, then had to call the main office to find out how to get into our room. The office was about 3 miles away, and nobody had told us. Once we located it through a confusing maze of buildings, the receptionist said to call if the room wasn’t satisfactory. We’d booked and paid for a deluxe suite advertised with a king bed, fireplace, large flat screen TV, rainfall shower and more. The room was a joke. Only the kitchen looked updated; the rest was filthy. The carpet seemed unvacuumed and felt damp, the wallpaper was peeling and water stained, and the bed wasn’t a king. Beside it, the so-called heating unit was stuck in the wall with copper pipes exposed. The bathroom wasn’t fit to wash my dog in: just a yellowed tub, no rainfall shower. There was no fireplace, the TV was older than me and tiny, and even the paintings were horrifying. It was dark and ominous. When I called the receptionist, she told me to take it up with Expedia. That left us without a place to stay during what was supposed to be a great vacation. I’d rather have slept in the car than pay premium prices for motel 6 quality. Expedia eventually found us a much nicer room elsewhere for one third the price. Thanks.
