Killington Motel

The cozy feeling, the food and coffee, and the owners’ attention make this a five-star stay even though it isn’t fancy. It’s my first choice in the area after coming to Killington often. They make you feel like a friend, and the price and quality are great. It’s clean and comfortable, and really well located, close to Killington base area, Pico, Long trail and more. The owners are friendly and know the area well. Breakfast is delicious and homemade, with fresh baked treats and house ground coffee. We had another great stay this past weekend. So cozy, and the breakfast was fabulous as usual. The coffee is magical, and the snow is great right now! Wish we could stay longer.

The hosts are friendly, kind and accommodating. We were cutting it close with the drive and departure time, so I asked for a late check-in even though they don’t offer one. They made an exception for us, and thankfully we got there just in time. They also roast and brew their own coffee, with a variety of good coffees for sale.

Robin and Steve, who run the motel, are extremely welcoming and hospitable. I stayed two nights while skiing at Killington. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it’s just a 2 minute drive to Killington access road. If you only need a place to rest your head, this works well, and I’d definitely stay again. Each morning they put out complimentary coffee roasted on-site and muffins, some homemade. It was so convenient as a skier who just wanted to get up early and head to the mountain.

The owners are what make this place worth five stars. They’re warm and accommodating, and made us feel like family. Breakfast was lovely too, with berries picked from the backyard, market fruit, homemade treats, and the best coffee, roasted right there. The rooms are comfortable and practical.
