Killington Mountain Lodge, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The TVs in the rooms we heard about didn’t work the first night, and everyone we spoke with seemed to have the same complaints. The water was cold, the employees weren’t pleasant, and the front desk said it met minimum requirements, as if that were something to be proud of. The jacuzzi left us smelling like a Batman villain fresh out of a chemical vat. There was no sense of hospitality here. This place stunk. It’s a glorified motel, not a Hilton. Do NOT stay here. I wondered if the TVs had been unplugged to save utilities, though I can’t say that for sure.

The large outdoor hot tub and the nearby restaurants, shops, and bars were good points. Staff were friendly, and service was good. There’s a convenience store in the lobby, too. The buffet breakfast has a decent selection and does the job, though most of it seems premade and reheated. The hotel is close to the ski mountain, but there’s no shuttle. Our shower water was only lukewarm, with cold air blowing down on our heads, and the single elevator was slow.

Jeff from maintenance really made the stay for us. When our TV had a problem, he came quickly, was super friendly, and got it working in no time. We also loved the hot tub, especially after spending a long day on the mountain. A great stay at Killington Mountain Lodge.

I was here over Thanksgiving weekend. It’s a decent hotel in a convenient spot, close to most restaurants and just a short drive from the mountain, though it isn’t ski in/ski out. The rooms worked well for a short ski trip, and the lobby was nice with plenty of parking. Charging for parking felt a bit cheap. Our shower stayed lukewarm the whole time, which was frustrating.
