The Trailside Inn

Anne couldn’t have been nicer, and the hosts were fantastic. The rooms are simple but have what you need, and the common areas are comfortable places to gather over breakfast or by the fire in the evening. The game room and pool table are a nice bonus. Great location and accommodation overall.

A few years ago, car trouble left me stuck in the parking lot and unable to get dinner. Ann kindly made me grilled cheese and tomato soup, which I really appreciated. I've been staying at the Trailside Inn for several years, and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are tasty too, especially the parfaits with perfect berries and creamy Vermont yogurt. The innkeepers are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I've stayed at Trailside Inn for a long ski weekend in March and also had my wedding there in August. The place worked perfectly for both. For skiing, it's close to a lot, with easy parking, comfortable beds, and common areas with a big fire in winter and an outdoor patio in summer. For our wedding, having all our guests stay in one place meant we could spend the day together without driving anywhere. Working with Ann and Josh from the start was easy. They communicated quickly, were kind, and helped with every part of the planning. We wanted an outdoor Vermont wedding without the hassle of a resort, and having owners who cared about us and our memories made Trailside exactly right. Book it!

The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and it was nice meeting Josh and Ann, who came from our “hometown.” It was our first stay at Trailside Inn, but we'll be back.
