The house has a lot of history and has been turned into a B&B. It’s peaceful and close to town, though the walk is a mile or more, so it’s really only practical if you’re young. Bring snacks and drinks or head out to get some. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, with coffee served. The older owners were nice.

The innkeepers were lovely, attentive without getting in the way, and breakfast was very good. Back Inn Time is a neat house with a nice property, and the room and bed were comfortable. It was built in 1900 and has been maintained and updated well. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it.

The bed, soft pillows, and crisp linens in our romantic room were especially memorable. The room was a little small, but we liked it enough that the size didn’t bother us. The whole place was clean, charming, beautifully decorated, and well appointed, just what we wanted. Our hosts were warm and did everything so well, and breakfast was a treat. It’s also a nice walk into quaint Kilmarnock, a fun way to get some exercise and see more of the town. For a lovely B&B stay, this was a great choice.

The extensive vegetable garden and all the lovely plants around the yard added a lot of charm, and I was so glad to have fresh vegetables. We booked two nights after an emergency at our nearby home, and the B&B was charming. The hosts were delightful and the company was fabulous. Breakfast was out of this world. Lisette is a top drawer cook, and the Benedict, though I can’t remember its exact name, was the best breakfast I’ve ever had, even after traveling all over the world. They exceeded my expectations by far. I plan to return even though we live nearby.

We stayed November 14-17, 2022, and loved the beautiful house, our perfect room, and the fantastic breakfast each day. The hosts were cool, and we had great conversations over breakfast. I’d booked months ahead and had been looking forward to crumpets and tea each afternoon. We didn’t get those, but there was an assortment of homemade cookies instead. My wife had to explain what a crumpet is, but I still wanted to try one, hahahaha!
