The room decor was dated, but it was very clean and comfortable, and that stunning view made the stay. We woke up to it each morning, and the area was quiet and relaxing. The room was stocked with towels, dish soap, and the dishes we needed to cook. There’s a pool, mini golf, dock access, a game room, tennis, a playground, and more. We had a great time and would absolutely stay again.

It’s handy to have a grocery store just a few minutes away, and we’ll definitely book here again. As first-time visitors, my husband and I liked being away from Branson traffic while still close enough to enjoy the attractions. Our room was clean and comfy. Being able to text the front desk was a plus, and they took care of any issues quickly.

Waking up to look out at the lake was a nice touch. The room was updated and clean, with a full-size refrigerator and extra seating. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We liked how close it was to Silver Dollar City and Branson, and how we could avoid some of the traffic.

The lake view was one of the best things about the place. My husband and I loved waking up to the water each morning. The smoke shack by check-in was another highlight, with delicious food that I’d recommend. We were lucky to get a spot on the fourth of July weekend and might consider returning, maybe after the renovation is actually complete. There were signs that work was underway, and I think our apartment had been newly updated, though “updated” is a stretch. It felt like corners had been cut. The kitchen had quite a bit to work with, but bring your own salt and pepper. We only got one coffee packet even though they know people stay in these apartments for a while. There was only one TV, in one bedroom, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. WiFi would help, since the signal is scarce inside. The pullout couch mattress had metal bars you could feel, and the beds were springy with little support. Each room had just one vent, so the large master bedroom stayed warm, while turning down the AC made the other rooms too cold. The dishwasher smelled like burning plastic when we ran it. The toilets didn’t flush properly, and even if you’re built like a twig, the bathroom is so cramped you’re practically on the ground. The toilet paper holder in the master bedroom was broken. Outside, the pool furniture was dirty, broken, or rusty. As the sun started to set, the pool smelled somewhere between rotten eggs and sewage. The wooden stairs up to our apartment were loose and wobbly, and the water-side sidewalk was broken and very unsteady. The balconies were extremely dirty, with poor furniture, and so full of wasps and spiders that we couldn’t stay on them for long. Our balcony door was broken in two places, and most of the outlets were loose and poorly placed, which felt hazardous.

The view of the lake was great, and the front desk staff were friendly. Still, we won’t stay here again, and we’ll tell others how poor our experience was. The room was dated and had old furniture. There was no WiFi, and the TV channel selection left a lot to be desired. We couldn’t use the hot water in part of our “condo” because it smelled like rotten eggs, and the remote in one bedroom didn’t match the TV. Staff brought the right remote but did nothing about the hot water. For the price, everything should have been in spectacular condition.
