Breakfast stayed hot and fresh even when I finally ate at 9am, after my last kid got up. I’d gone to the breakfast area at 6am and saw the woman there keeping everything clean, organized, and well stocked with lots of good choices. The staff seemed to know many of the people staying there, and everyone I saw checking out was friendly and helpful. Lots of repeat customers, which is always a good sign. We’d pulled into the nearby Cook Out for a late dinner after a long day and spotted the glowing Holiday Inn sign from the parking lot. It felt like a nudge to stop for the night, and I like staying at Holiday Inns on road trips. We arrived around 10pm. The woman at check-in was kind and helpful, got us linens for the pullout sofa so the kids each had their own bed, and set out extra towels for all four of us after a long, dusty day in a boat yard. I’d consider coming back here.

Robin at the front desk welcomed us warmly and arranged an early check-in that we really appreciated, since we’d arrived ahead of schedule after a long drive. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. The bed was wonderful, with premium pillows and sheets, and there were plenty of towels. The coffee and tea were better than usual, and the gym was great.

The breakfast choices were terrific. My husband enjoyed a full hot breakfast throughout our two weeks there, while I stuck with oatmeal, bagels, and yogurt. He got hooked on the cinnamon rolls! The staff and management were friendly, and they did a great job keeping everything very clean. They were accommodating when I brought my service dog, too. We had a wonderful stay.

We were driving down to Florida and only found a room here after midnight, when so many other places were booked or seemed worryingly cheap. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, and got us checked in quickly. We had a king room and, apart from the beds not being very comfortable, the stay was fine. We were glad the location felt safe. Breakfast was free in the morning.
