The restaurant team stood out, with polite, efficient, professional service. The hotel itself is just as impressive: everything was spotless, the rooms had beautiful modern furnishings, and the architecture felt luxurious.

Joyce the chef deserves a shoutout for the breakfast. The choices were great, and I especially liked the quiche, grits, and turkey sausage. The room was clean, and both the gym and heated pool were nice. I’ll be back next month and plan to stay here again.

I came for a business trip and liked that the room was simply furnished: a king bed, luggage bench, desk and chair, closet area, fridge, coffee machine, and just the essentials. There wasn’t a safe, though, so you’ll have to keep your valuables with you. I had no problems with bed bugs, mold, or dirt. The weak point is the location. There are only junk food options nearby, so you have to drive for a proper sit-down meal. That also means no easy beer or glass of wine after a long day of meetings. My client is in Kinston, but this may be enough to make me consider hotels in Greenville instead.

The wallpaper in my room this time was stained and coming loose, but I can overlook that when the people are so nice. Everyone here is extremely friendly and goes out of their way to help, and I appreciate the free water. The rooms are consistently clean, and the beds are comfortable. I’ve stayed several times on business over the last few months and will keep coming back since I’m in Kinston for work often.
