Best Western Plus Orlando Lake Buena Vista South Inn & Suites

We keep coming back because the experience has been consistent. This was our third stay at the Best Western Plus on Polynesian Isle Blvd in just a few weeks, and Bertha and Alex at the front desk were outstanding each time. They were welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful. The room and property were clean and well kept, and we liked relaxing in the clean pool and hot tub after long park days. The location is practical too, close to the Disney parks, shopping, and places to eat. We'd gladly return and recommend it to people visiting the area.

The thin walls made a bad night even worse: a group of girls yelled and laughed until 3 a.m. the night before our Disney visit, then started again at 6, with loud noise all morning. The beds were hard and creaky, and the shuttle schedule to Disney wasn't very flexible. The hot tub wasn't hot either. It's been two weeks and I still haven't received my deposit. The front desk told me to call the manager Monday, then transferred me without warning to a full voicemail box. This place was awful. Save your money for another hotel.

Our room was on the third floor, which had no ice machine, so we had to go up or down a floor for ice. The hallway there was so hot that the windows were open at night. The bigger problem was a resort fee I was told at booking wouldn't be charged. At check-in on 2/17/26, the staff member agreed not to charge it, but after we checked out she processed it on 2/21/26. When I called on 2/23/26, another person said she couldn't remove it and sent me back to the original staff member. That person then assured me it would be removed shortly, but it never was. I had to dispute it with my card company to get the charge taken off. It wasn't much money, but the principle mattered, and I felt she had lied to me more than once. Be careful and do your homework.

I've stayed at more than 30 hotels for work, and this Best Western gave me one of the cleanest, most comfortable and spacious rooms I've had. The staff's customer service was top notch. Heta was especially kind and accommodating, and made sure I had a great stay. I look forward to choosing best western in Vineland again soon.
