We spent a week here and things went wrong right from the start. Our room had no basic table or chair, so the three of us had nowhere to sit. One morning the bathroom door locked and we couldn’t get in. The front desk sent us to the lobby bathroom, but that wasn’t working either, so we were told to use the pool bathroom outside. They eventually moved us, but the new room’s couch smelled like pee. Nearly all the laundry machines were out of service, and the one that supposedly worked seemed questionable. There was a constant weed smell in the elevators and halls, and the staff seemed indifferent and unfriendly. We didn’t try the cold pools or the crappy breakfast place. We also worried our vehicle could be broken into at any moment. I didn’t feel safe there at all.

The front desk lady was nice and accommodating, and I enjoyed the lazy river in the pool area. Had a pleasant stay and would come back.

I stayed for a week during the switch to raddison. The room was okay, and the hotel is close to lots of things in town. For the price, it’s hard to beat.

The staff were amazing within the limits of what they could do, and the pool complex was enjoyable, though it’s not resort-level. The breakfast is what you’d expect from a free hotel breakfast, except it costs $10-$15. WiFi is available, but there seems to be a limit on simultaneous users, so getting online in the evening may be difficult. The HVAC made a crazy banging noise, and calls to the desk often rang through to voicemail. Also, check the Red Lion reviews, it’s the same hotel.

We had a spotless room, lots of parking, and a very helpful, welcoming young woman checked us in late on May 8th. The place is close to everything, and my daughter spent the day enjoying the slide and lazy river. For the price, it was a five-star stay for us.
