Comfort Inn Kissimmee-Lake Buena Vista South

After driving nine hours from Indiana, I arrived to find a hotel that looked nothing like its photos. The room was filthy, and there were roaches. I took pictures and video, and if I can upload them, they’ll show what I mean. I wanted to leave and get my money back, but was told the manager was on vacation and that I should call in the morning. I reported it to Expedia, who said they’d contact the hotel to request a refund. The hotel told Expedia it would NOT refund me. Expedia called them many times, but they still refused. Kudos to whoever took the pictures. I care about other travelers, so I plan to report this to the Florida Department of Health. They clearly don’t care about their reputation or their customers. 😞

We stayed a few days before our cruise from Port Canaveral. The room was clean, the staff were great, and the price was excellent. We also liked the location, with Universal, Disney, the cruise port, and plenty of restaurants nearby. We’d stay again.

The pictures looked great, but the hotel was disgusting. They charge a $30 daily “resort fee,” and our room had rotten food in the fridge, a moldy shower that kept dripping, and a toilet that wouldn’t flush. They wouldn’t move us to another room or refund us. Don’t give them your money. Run from this place.

The room’s ceiling fan was the only thing I liked, since it helped keep things cool. The whole place is horribly outdated, and mildew hits you as soon as you enter. There’s even visible mold in the lobby’s drop ceiling. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. It should be closed and torn down. Not worth staying here.
