Lambert Inn

The room was well kept and really clean, and it didn’t have that seedy hotel feel. I didn’t even feel the need to check the bed for stains. Inexpensive doesn’t have to mean cheap and filthy. This is a family owned place, and the care they put into the business comes through. The owners have done a great job keeping it up, and I hope they get more guests soon so they can keep investing in gradual updates. The Lambert Inn is the best place to stay on Vine St. Hospitality seems low on the list at the other nearby hotels. They don’t accept pets, understandably, but they accommodate service animals without extra fuss and without an extra deposit depending on size. The family has owned it for years.

The room was modern, clean, and spacious, with an updated bathroom, mini fridge, and microwave. The front desk was extremely accommodating. The drawback is the location: the area is very busy, it can be hard to get into the parking lot if you don’t know exactly where you’re going, and this isn’t on the tourist end of 192.

The front desk guy had no customer service skills. With so many bugs in the place, he should think about how he talks to people he doesn’t know.

Just look at the picture. This place is a disaster, and the Expedia photos look nothing like the real thing. I booked through Expedia. Stay away if you want to live!
