The people in the clubhouse and lobby were polite, helpful, and dealt with our plumbing problems promptly. The appliances were newer and nice, the unit was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. It’s also close to Disney parks and grocery stores. Still, what we found didn’t match the online “resort” description or the listing for “luxurious 3- and 4- bedroom townhomes with full concierge services in a gated resort community.” It felt like an apartment complex, with some units apparently occupied by residents, judging by the Christmas decorations and Ring cameras. Our place looked worn and dated, with torn screens, dirty windows, dull decor, old living room furniture, and a terrible TV channel selection. We had several problems: some sinks had no hot water, the toilets barely flushed, and the freezer leaked onto the kitchen floor. There’s a gate, but no real security since the exit stays open. One night we saw two people dropped off and walk in through that open exit.

The place was comfortable and convenient, and the staff were good. Cleanliness could use work: we found dried contact lenses left on the floor and hair on the bed, there was grime in the showers, and leaves had collected by the entrance and around the grills.

The four-bedroom unit was spotless, and having a full kitchen made things much easier with young children. The property is well placed for a family Disney trip, and the pool was lovely on days away from the parks. We loved staying at the Wyndham Magic Yards property. Front desk staff were always available whenever we needed help.

A good place to stay, but they need to replace the toilet paper instead of leaving partly used rolls that run out. Our place smelled of cigarettes and wasn’t very clean.
