When I arrived for my business trip the day after making a reservation and calling to confirm it, I was told my room had been sold. I ended up spending the night on the street. At least my rental car seats were comfortable. I contacted customer service through the website afterward to say they might want to improve their process. The answer was, “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do.” That was also what I was told at the property. It may look inexpensive, but keep looking elsewhere.

Marianne was incredibly kind and stayed calm and respectful even when someone came in being rude. I’d book again as long as I didn’t have to deal with Dawn. On check-in, I spent about 7-8 minutes in the office before Dawn came in from smoking and talking with someone outside. She was rude and ignorant. I had booked online, but was told there was a deposit I didn’t know about and had to pay in cash. On checkout day, I asked about it and found there was no deposit, even though I had handed her a $100 bill. Her attitude and the way she speaks to people are bad, even if it was late. From what I’ve seen and heard, Ms. Ivory tries to help a lot of people.

I was shocked by reviews calling the rooms clean. The floorboards were broken, lifting up, and slick with something, and paint was peeling off in chunks in the bathroom. I was too uneasy to use the dirty shower. In the morning we found three cockroaches in the room. This was the sketchiest place I’ve ever stayed.

Dawn was great about helping me, even at 2AM when my phone was giving me trouble. She was accommodating, accepted cash, and handled one thing after another. The location is right across the street from Old Town, so you can walk there and save on parking for half the price. A good spot to rest while you’re out enjoying Florida.
