Palazzo Lakeside Hotel

Good breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, and a great location. For what you get, the price is hard to beat. Just keep in mind there's no room service if you stay fewer than four nights. That didn't bother us.

The location made it easy to get around, and the place felt relaxing. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean, organized, and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly from check-in through check-out. I appreciated the care they put into things and the good service. I'd gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

They refused to refund the $500, even though I called well ahead about my delayed flight and repeatedly checked whether arriving two hours after my estimated time was okay. They said it was fine. When we got there at 1 AM, they claimed the room had been sold during those two hours. Seriously, am I supposed to believe that? They said I could contact someone about a refund, then refused it anyway. If your flight might be delayed or you care about customer service, avoid this place. I feel robbed.

For the price, this place is a great value, and I'd recommend it and stay again. The grounds are lovely, with a beautiful lake, lots of space to walk, and nice lobby and sitting areas. Customer service was great, and the beds were super comfy, with a nice shower and mirror. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some minor upkeep. Breakfast has decent choices in a beautiful, spacious room, but it gets crowded fast. Balconies are small, though there are larger outdoor seating areas. There aren't enough elevators, but being on the second floor, we were okay. There's some kind of humidity problem, and the cute kids' lounge had gaming systems that weren't working.
