Quality Inn & Suites Kissimmee near Main Gate

After a long day at Disney, we came back to an uncleaned room and unmade beds. When we asked, the explanation was simply that housekeeping must have forgotten. We asked for our money back so we could move to a cleaner, more family-friendly hotel, and were told no. They said we could leave if we wanted, but wouldn’t refund the nine nights we’d booked. This place isn’t family friendly. It may be among the cheapest around Disney, but I’d spend the extra $30-40 per night for a decent hotel. I won’t stay here or at any hotel in this franchise again. You can do better.

On the first night, the room was so foul-smelling that I got a headache and had trouble breathing. It smelled like chemicals had been used to cover up something else, and I wondered if there might be fleas because it felt as if pets had been in there. The carpet was filthy and stained in places, with tears in it. There were dead bugs in the corners, and the shower was stained with chipped paint. I’d rather sleep in my car. Google doesn’t give an honest choice for describing this hotel. I’d call it total trash.

The area is great for getting to all the parks, and the service was amazing for me. Kio, Keo was wonderful at his job. He offered to carry my bags and even said he’d help if I couldn’t find my room. I told him he should be working at the Hiltons. He’s a great young man, and he’ll make sure you get good service. Awesome work, everyone, especially with breakfast. I’ll be back.

We came for a few days and this was just right for a quick, fairly cheap trip. There’s plenty of food within walking distance and a Walmart nearby. We ended up using Uber to get around, about $10-15 each way, and I’d stay here again for a short getaway. The listed shuttle times weren’t easy to find until we arrived, and aside from the pickup from Epcot, they weren’t practical for a full park day. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the shower had great pressure and hot water, and the mirror lighting worked well for makeup. Check-in was easy, and breakfast was plentiful and good. My main suggestion is to sell water at the front desk, since the vending machines are so far away. I gave it four stars because the room looked much better online. After I posted a video, my husband got a couple of calls asking why he’d let me stay at a Motel 6. I assured him the place was great, even if the outside looked a little worn.
