Roomba Inn & Suites Orlando

The location is great, but the service and cleanliness weren't. At check-in, the young Asian woman helping me was rude, didn't smile, and wouldn't even look at me. I watched her speak really horribly to other guests too, so I shouldn't have expected better. The room was old and outdated, with disgusting sticky rugs, a dirty bathroom, lumpy beds, and awful pillows. The hair dryer smelled like urine. Breakfast wasn't good either. An egg, Asian rice, and noodles at 7:00 a.m. aren't what we're used to. Too bad about the location.

The room smelled like mold, and water leaked from the A/C vent until the floor was soaked. I had to walk to the front desk because the room phone didn't work. It was so gross that I left before the night was over, and I definitely want a refund. The staff were incredibly rude. They wanted to charge me $3 for breakfast for four adults and a three-year-old, and the food was disgusting. People had their hands all over it, and there was trash on the electric table where you cook the eggs.

If you just need a convenient location and won't spend time in the room, maybe this works. For a family wanting a home away from home, steer clear. The beds were comfortable, we had strong AC, and the staff were friendly. The water was hot with good pressure, and there were no bugs. The room smelled of bleach, so at least it had been cleaned. But the carpet was dirty, and the AC had a slight mold smell. We didn't get sick. The walls were paper thin and it was extremely loud at night. We were in a corner room near the stairs, so there may have been more foot traffic. Even with several lights, the room felt dark. We called it the dungeon. We used our own sheets, and wouldn't let our small kids on the nasty carpet. It was too noisy for us, and we'll never come back.

The carpet was so dirty that our feet turned black if we took our shoes off, and there were tiny bugs in the room, though I couldn't tell what they were. The room also seemed poorly insulated. Noise kept us awake most of the night, with someone at the next room knocking or slamming the door every 30-40 minutes. We won't return. It served its purpose, I guess, but the stay was disgusting. After driving all day, all I wanted was to get in and relax. Instead, check-in was frustrating: the woman kept walking away and seemed lost. The lobby smelled strange, and my daughter wouldn't even go in. When I asked for enough towels for our four people, I was sent to the laundry room and stared at as if I shouldn't be there. Nobody spoke good English, and I didn't get everything I needed. The free breakfast was only over med eggs, brown and crispy, toast with a long wait to make it, or cereal left uncovered in big bowls where flies, bugs, or someone who hadn't washed their hands could get to it. The milk was around room temperature, the coffee was disgusting, and the “OJ” was actually orange DRINK. Never going back there!
