RW Hotel

I arrived around 12:30am expecting to check into the room I’d booked, but nobody was there. The window listed office hours as 9am to 10pm. I had already mentioned in my booking that my flight would land between 11pm and midnight, so the hotel should have let me know no one would be available after 10pm. I could have made other arrangements. Instead, I had to find another hotel at 1am. Now I’m trying to get a refund, but it’s been declined and they say the original cancellation policy applies. This is very poor customer service, and I should get my money back.

We told the manager we were looking for an extended stay, and he showed us a room. We normally pay by the month, but here payment was weekly, so we paid for a week. The next morning, as we were heading to the store, a different manager told us we had to move because that room was only for weekly stays. He offered another room with a full bed and a pull-out bed. We said we needed two beds: I’m 70 and can’t sleep on a pull-out, and my daughter and grandson also needed a full-size bed. He said it was a better-looking room than the others at this location. We ended up having to find somewhere else to stay. The one good thing is he refunded us for the days we hadn’t stayed.

It’s a quiet, family-friendly hotel, and Veto is wonderful and helpful. RW is a great place to stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

I visited my friends’ room today, and you can tell they took their time getting it ready, so the wait for a room seems worth it. The service is a 10. The older woman who cleaned the room did her best, even though she didn’t know any English. She deserves a raise. If anyone can share her information, I’d love to tip her. Service was pretty quick, and the people there are good.
