I came from Lakeland after hearing about this place from a friend. I didn’t get a room, just came for the pool party, and the atmosphere was great. It felt like a real no-judgment zone. The bartenders were pretty bland, though, with no enthusiasm or even a “thank you” or “enjoy.” It was basically, “What can I get you? Here you go. Now give me a tip.” That’s how it felt to me. Benji was really freakin awesome, five stars for Benji. Bring water shoes and keep them on. I slipped hard on the pool deck and badly messed up my ankle.

The people are always great, and the staff are super friendly. My husband and I love going to Secrets and will probably be back this weekend. Still, the music and drink options keep bringing it down for me. I’ve asked the staff every time we’ve been there to stock nonalcoholic drinks, and nearly two years later, there’s still nothing. Outside, there may be one or two jugs of water, but they can be empty when it’s hot. At the bar, it’s tap water or soda water. I’d like to see canned options like Liquid Death, refreshers, or really anything that isn’t water or alcohol. Alcohol culture feels too prevalent in a place where getting drunk should be frowned on. The club music is almost always the same old early 2000s songs. At the last takeover event in mid-May, I heard “Get Low” three times in a row. I prefer light, rhythmic EDM, pop, or house, and I’m tired of dancing to the same worn-out tracks. Please give me good music to dance to. Maybe a review will get more attention, I don’t know.

We’ve been coming to Secrets for about three years, and it used to be a very good experience. At one point it made us really happy, which is why the change in service has been so disappointing. Since the new ownership or investors came in, it feels like staff care more about raising the bill than providing an experience that matches the high prices. Don’t get the cabana. For what you pay, it was a complete waste. We got much better service from Janell at the bar than we did after spending extra for the cabana upgrade. That felt like a downgrade in customer service. The rules for spending the food and beverage amount weren’t clear, either. A bottle that costs $30 was charged at $175. I tried to give the manager feedback, but after a sly smirk I’m pretty sure my concerns went nowhere. The leadership and policies need to change if this place wants to be a higher-end resort. And the DJ change was terrible. I hope this helps someone avoid regretting a visit.

Tatum made our day. She treated us like kings and queens, and was attentive, friendly, and just what you’d hope for from this kind of experience. We had an amazing Sunday Funday at Secrets with another couple who are great friends of ours. We rented a cabana and have absolutely no regrets. Having a shady, comfortable place as our home base was SO worth the money. Amazing day all around!

My husband and I have become closer through our experiences at Secrets, especially in how we communicate and explore together. The dungeon, also called Club Swingster, has helped create that dynamic. For us, it’s a place for connection, trust, and growth as well as play. What stands out to me there is how much safety, respect, and consent matter. The rules are posted clearly in many places, which supports a feeling of care and accountability. I feel welcome and safe enough to relax into the experience. Silver, Eddie, and Sunshine, the dungeon masters, have all been professional, knowledgeable, and educational, and their presence has made a real difference. There’s lots to love at Secrets, including the condos, pool, club, playroom, vibe, and the people who make it all happen. But Club Swingster is my favorite part, and it often gets overlooked.
