Sevilla Inn - Near Medieval Times

The location is good, and the price was cheap, but the rooms badly need updating. The bed was hard, and they left a pest-control notice on everyone’s door. The smell of the pest spray was strong enough that we went out and bought air fresheners. The heat wasn’t working properly, either. We kept our luggage in the car. Be aware.

The place was dirty and smelled like cockroach spray. The tile floors were really slippery, and in one room the bathtub nozzle was barely attached. There’s also a giant refrigerator in the room, which is odd. It might work if you need a quick room, but it costs more than it should.

This was a horrendous stay. There were so many roaches that I couldn’t even leave food outside the fridge. Staff kept knocking while I was asleep to tell me an exterminator was coming to fumigate while I was still in the room. I’ve never heard of that happening at hotels elsewhere. And honestly, this looked more like a motel than a hotel.

The bed is the most basic thing a hotel needs to get right, and this place got it wrong. Everything was old and smelled bad. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
