The room had a persistent moldy odor, and the dehumidifier didn't help. Other reviews seem to mention this too. It was in unacceptable shape for a Marriott brand: visible wear and stains, damage and flaking on the ceiling, and even a piece that had fallen. Luckily nobody was sitting on the sofa below it, and the sofa itself looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. At check-in we were told there were two complimentary water bottles, then told they had run out, and later the front desk said free water wasn't provided. The messages were inconsistent and unprofessional. Breakfast was basic. The only upside was being close to Disney World. The courtesy shuttle schedule was impractical, with a 9:30 AM ride to Magic Kingdom or an 11:30 AM ride to Hollywood Studios. It also stopped at other hotels, which could add close to an hour before reaching the park, costing a big part of the day. The stay felt more like a motel than a Marriott property. The hotel needs renovation. There are better nearby options for just a little more money. As a longtime Marriott member, this was my worst Marriott experience.

I recently called to ask whether a banquet room was available and what multiple guest rooms would cost. Taaliyah (spelling?) was courteous, professional, and knew the area well. She spent time answering all my questions and gave clear, helpful guidance. Her service convinced us to go ahead with accommodations at your property. We're looking forward to staying in July and will call next month to finalize the reservations.

We arrived late at night and Nadia at the front desk greeted us with a warm, genuine smile and plenty of energy, even at that hour. She seemed to really care about the guests she was helping. When there was a small problem with our first room, she sorted it out quickly and smoothly. She stayed positive and made the whole thing easy. Nadia was professional and kind, and we really appreciated her help. She made a great first impression.

The outdoor area was beautiful, and it was nice to step out to the pool bar with food options. Breakfast was good and included. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the front desk staff were wonderful. When we asked for extra towels, they arrived in our room within five minutes with a smile, even though we'd said there was no rush. Service went above and beyond, which doesn't happen often these days. I'd recommend staying here and would come back!
