Staymore Extended Studios Kissimmee

I've been staying here for close to a year, and the rooms are clean, with cleaning every other week. The staff are friendly and know the area well. I've met some fine people here, too. There's a nice-sized pool, shopping nearby, and the main Orlando attractions, including Disney, Universal, and all the outlet malls, are just minutes away. You can cook in the room, there's a good-sized refrigerator, and pets are welcome. It's comfortable and convenient without the ridiculous prices of other hotels. I'd recommend Staymore to anyone looking to get to the top attractions easily.

We stayed here on a business trip from October 2017 to May. There weren't rooms available elsewhere in Kissimmee for as long as we needed, but it turned into nothing but drama. Brenda, the front desk clerk and manager, started off nice and became the rudest person we've ever dealt with. After we found out the maintenance man was having sex on the property with my son's girlfriend in a room rented under my name, things got ugly. I was also told drugs were allowed to be sold on the property. Brenda caused trouble there, and the front desk even tried to control when we could smoke outside. The owners didn't allow Christmas decorations at Christmas because they don't believe in Christmas. My husband travels for work, so we've stayed in motels in many states, but this was the worst service and experience I've ever had. I would never stay in this dump again. Run from this place!

We needed a place for a couple of months near Winnie Palmer hospital, and the large in-room kitchen was a big help for our family. The hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well located for shopping and restaurants. Denny's gives guests a discount, and Old Town is a ten-minute bus ride away. Rates were reasonable, and the pool was very clean. There's also a laundry room, which was useful for an extended stay. Staff can be strict, which felt a bit overwhelming at first. I appreciated it later, since it helped keep noise and troublemaking guests away. Housekeeping and maintenance stayed on top of cleaning and repairs. The hotel felt safe, with two designated smoking areas and firm rules about smoking only there, which matters for children and non-smoking guests. I think it offers a safe, affordable option for a vacation or for anyone needing a home away from home near a hospital.

The floors are coming up, and the refrigerators don't work, though the freezer might. These rooms aren't remodeled. The property manager, Jonathan, told me he doesn't have a business degree in management, and I found him rude and dishonest. He isn't friendly, and if you ask to speak with the owner, he'll say the owner isn't on the property, so you have to deal with him. I feel he is afraid of losing his job and will find a way to kick you out or refuse your payment if you complain about the property or him and his team. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you can deal directly with the property owner.
