Travelodge Suites East Gate Orange

The service was the best part. They brought extra coffee right to our room when we were running low, and my things were still there after we checked out. I'm going back today for another stay and to pick up my item. The rooms smelled good and had plenty of hot water, with no insects. The floors could use a deep clean and the rooms are a bit dated, but the price is decent and there's a lot to do nearby. Great service, pretty clean rooms. I can't complain.

The grounds are cared for, the maids are sweet as pie, and the rooms are nicely done. I love the efficiency kitchenette, and this room tonight is an efficiency. The decor isn't perfect like the Marriott, but I'd choose this place over Marriott anytime. The price fits my budget, the pool is warm, and the hot tub is so relaxing. There's also a game room for kids in a separate building, and the hotel is bigger than I expected. My only issue is that some beds sit really low, which is hard for me because I'm very tall. They need new, soft, squishy beds. I can't think of any other issues. My phone camera doesn't do justice to how nice the room is.

The staff were friendly and the location is great for Disney and the other Orlando attractions. The carpet and tile seemed newer, though the gaps around the doors may undo that soon. Still, for the price, it doesn't really measure up. The paint and finishes are dated, the toilet wasn't bolted down, the sink fixtures were old and cracked, and the furniture was well used. It's not the worst place I've stayed. If you're nearby with travel points or a free night, it could be worthwhile. Paying the rate, I'd probably drive another mile down the road.

The suite's quality and the campus amenities really impressed me. The room was clean, nicely furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. It had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and other in-room amenities. There's also a laundry and game room with recliners not far from the pool. The night manager was having trouble with Wyndam rewards that evening and gave us the $50.00 coupon rate. I'd highly recommend staying here.
