Venetian Bay Villages Four-bedroom

I’ve been living here almost a year and definitely won’t renew. Cesar is the security guard who gives people a hard time, and he seems to take it out on anyone nearby. He’s rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and the list goes on. Even an Amazon delivery driver said, “that guy Cesar is really rude, you need to report him,” after bringing my packages. The front office isn’t any better. I can’t understand why people buy homes in this community.

Update: I’ve moved on, and I can see how this place is dragging down the value of its beautiful homes. It’s much better elsewhere. No more power trips, long entry lines, lonely drives to an overflowing compactor, hearing neighbors inside the house, or threats to tow. I can only imagine what the HOA fees will be like long term. Buyer beware. Homes are piling up for sale on Zillow with big reductions, and there’s a reason. Management here is incredibly inconsiderate. Security and towing seem closely connected, cars get towed, and many security guards leave or are fired. Buildings 3-5 were being painted, and residents had received a notice, but the road was blocked through building 10 and Final Warnings were put on many cars for towing that night. I overheard security asking on the phone for cars to be towed. Amazon deliveries aren’t allowed after 8, but drivers get hassled even before then and packages go undelivered. Moving in after 6 p.m. isn’t allowed either. These times seem to change depending on what they feel like and who they let in.

The pool rules seem reasonable to me. They help keep things calm, without people getting too rowdy, jumping in, or making a lot of noise. The grounds are always pristine, and it’s pleasant to walk around the property. I’ve rented a condo here for five weeks in each of the past four years. With the gated entrance and security on duty around the clock, I’ve always felt safe. I’ve loved my stays here.

Most of the condos could use some work, though that seems common around Florida. My main issue is security: they’re rude and out of control, and the rules don’t seem to apply equally to everyone. Someone needs to put them in their place.
