Wyndham Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area

Disney Springs is just a short walk away, and buses are available to all the Parks. Daniela made check-in easy and was friendly and professional. The maids cleaned the room well every day, and security was noticeable around the Property. Food at the pool bar and restaurant was reasonably priced, and the customer service was great.

Being only a five-minute walk from Disney Springs was a real plus, and the rooms were comfortable. The bathroom, though, was dirty when we checked in, with hair, small dead flies on the walls and ceiling, and dust on the surfaces. We used the cleaning wipes we’d brought to clean a few areas we needed, but the remaining dirt was still there throughout our 8-night stay. Apart from that, everything was good.

The pool is beautiful, the location is great, and customer service was great too. My only issue is the extra cost: the hotel charges a resort fee, but parking the car also costs money each day. I feel that parking charge should be included when you book the room instead of added separately.

Early park access is the main reason I’d consider staying here. You can walk to Disney Springs, where you can catch a bus or boat to the parks, but you can’t walk to Disney itself. The location is technically on property, though it feels busier and less magical than the Disney area half a mile down the street. There are nicer hotels across the main street, but this one helps you avoid that traffic, and the area feels safe. The staff were friendly, and it’s a nice area to walk around. The room felt like a motel room, with small beds, gaps under the doors that let in air, and so much noise you could hear everything, almost like being beside a freeway. You don’t have to worry about bugs, though. The shuttle is available, but you have to book it days ahead and there are limited times. The resort fee was $40 a night, including in Feb 2026, and parking cost another $35. That adds $100 to any quoted price. If your budget leaves this as the only option, it’s doable. Otherwise, I’d stay down the street for a more comfortable room and a good night’s sleep. They also often run out of the room you reserved.
