Northeaster Motel

The owner's husband was very sweet, but the woman in charge was rude and off putting. The service and rooms were disgusting. I found TWO crack/meth pipes and $10 in a drawer in my room, apparently because the housekeeper hadn't cleaned after the previous guests. A weird place with an even weirder owner. A very sad place to go if you're in need.

The first room smelled like hot dead fish, and the second was gross too. I found stains on pillows, fly catchers covered in flies, and an A.C. filter that looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it was purchased. I'm not sure where my photos uploaded. They refused any refund and said it was my fault for booking. I was willing to accept losing one night's cost to give them some business, but they wouldn't return any of the money for night two.

The gentleman who checked us in was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We got there late, after check-in, with a Uhaul and trailer, and he helped us park. In the morning he came out and helped us get safely out of the lot. The little cottages were cute, and the room was super clean, with a great shower and comfortable bed. It was a wonderful, quiet stay.

I love hotels like this. The room had nice wood walls and cute older touches, but it had also been remodeled nicely. It was super clean, smelled great, and the bed was comfortable. The gentleman at the desk was so nice. It's close to the interstate and a coffee shop, and good value too.
