The floors were filthy, and the beds felt like rocks, with a dip in the middle. The lobby reeked of sewage, while the room had an awful incense smell. This place is nasty. Don’t waste your time or money.

The bathroom door had rust all around it, and there were bad spots on the walls. There’s no elevator, and you can’t get a smoking room, so you have to go outside even in 20 degree weather. Meanwhile, walking down the hall, all you smell is weed. The area didn’t seem very safe to me.

After my shower, I found roaches on the floor. When we reported it, one of the girls said it was because the hotel was near the woods, and that she couldn’t move us since they were booked. Then I felt something on me while lying down. My daughter shone her flashlight and saw a roach on my face and another in my bed. We packed up and left right away. The girl said the manager would refund me that day, but she sent me 20 bucks. Now I feel traumatized whenever I close my eyes. Save your money and sleep in your car. The room smelled so bad when I first walked in that I felt sick to my stomach. I thought it might just be the heat and the three hour drive, so I went out to explore the town for a few hours before coming back.

The reservation was made by my mngr, and after reading the reviews I expected a subpar hotel. My room, bed, staff, cleanliness, and decor were all good, and I slept like a baby. Sure, some things could use an update, and there’s always something to complain about if you go looking for it. I figure you can be grateful you don’t have to sleep in your car and choose to notice the good.
