I needed a last-minute room near Children's Hospital and booked without checking first. When I opened the door, I was shocked. The room was filthy: unfinished patchwork on the walls, a brown and black floor that looked mopped with dirty water, dead bugs in the bathroom, black mold around it, and dirty marks running down the walls. A grimy curtain separated the room from the bathroom, and I was almost afraid to touch it. The comforter had lots of cigarette burns, and the sheets underneath were absolutely filthy. The TV picture worked but had no audible volume. The air conditioner was so nasty I had to switch it on with my walking cane. Complaining got me nowhere. I spent the night in a chair, watching a silent TV and two bugs crawling on the wall, then finally lay down in the back seat of my SUV. Please don't waste your money on this place.

I really enjoyed staying here. The place was very clean, the people were nice, and the view in the morning was amazing.

My room on the top floor was infested with both baby and adult roaches. They came out of the sink, crawled on the walls and got onto the bed. The toilet flushed, then kept running for 15 minutes. This was the nastiest place I've ever tried to stay. The room cost $65. I did get a refund, but it didn't seem to be given willingly. I told him two bugs had woken me by crawling on my face and said the BBB would hear about it.

Absolutely nasty. There were burn holes everywhere and hair on the sheets, plus writing on the walls. They aren't pet-friendly, and the man pockets money. The place is infested with bugs. I'd rather sleep outside.

The owners and staff are professional and work hard, and the service was fast. It's a nice family business to stop at and stay. The rooms are clean, and I love the hardwood floors because they mean fewer germs. I don't do carpet. It's right off the freeway, and their deals are nice.
