I never got my $50 deposit back. I was told it would be refunded within 3-5 days, but it wasn’t. I eventually reached a manager once, and he said he’d ask staff why there was a note not to refund me. He never called back. Later, someone else said a towel was missing. I never touched the hotel towels because I don’t like them. I brought my own since I’m not a stick and standard towels don’t fit me. My lunch bag and small purse backpack were full of clothes and medical supplies, so there was no room for a towel I didn’t even want. I tried several times to reach a manager, but was told he wasn’t coming in or would be there later, when I couldn’t call. If you stay here, be prepared to lose the $50 deposit. I would’ve given five stars if they hadn’t done this.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our week there. We had a fridge but no microwave, though they kindly let us use the one in the breakfast room even outside breakfast hours. We didn’t ask for daily housekeeping and brought our own toiletries. Around halfway through the stay, a housekeeping staff member took out the trash and replaced the towels, and she was very pleasant. Our non-smoking room was relatively clean and didn’t smell bad, but I wouldn’t walk barefoot on the carpet. We didn’t see any roaches during our seven days, despite what other reviews said. There was no blow dryer in the room, even though it’s listed as an amenity, so bring one if that matters to you. The room had only one set of pillows, so you may want extras if you like sitting up in bed to read or watch TV. The hallway sometimes smelled of smoke, likely from nearby smoking rooms, and yes, this is Tennessee. Breakfast was mostly coffee and carbs. We weren’t interested in either, so we usually skipped it, ate food we kept in the fridge, or picked something up while out. If you’re counting on a “hot breakfast,” keep that in mind. For a group, a slightly pricier place with a substantial breakfast may cost less than eating out every day. It’s a two-story hotel with no elevator, and the neighborhood felt a bit rough, so we asked for an upstairs room for safety. Carrying our luggage up once wasn’t a big deal during a full week. This is a two-star hotel, and you get what you pay for. It wasn’t the worst place we’ve stayed, and for the money it wasn’t horrible, but I’m not sure I’d return. It met our needs, though it’s best for travelers who know which tradeoffs they’re okay with and plan ahead.

I stayed one night, and the room smelled absolutely horrible. We had roaches, and when we told the front desk, she laughed it off and said, “oh we always have them this time of season”. One shampoo bottle hadn’t been replaced, just filled with water. The sheets, comforter, and pillows on both beds were dirty and stained. It might be okay if you’re on a budget, but be cautious about the roaches and lack of cleanliness.

What a diamond in the rough. It’s a really nice little place. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were no signs of mold or pests. I slept great in the clean, comfy bed with lots of pillows and fresh sheets. The towels were a nice size too.

My original review was deleted by the owner. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The room was filthy when I arrived, so I asked front desk worker Charlie to service it. He started screaming and throwing a tantrum instead of helping me. This was supposed to be a cheap night, but it ended up costing almost three times what I expected. The place is not safe or clean, and the service is even worse. I provided photos. Owner, please don’t delete my message again. I’m genuinely trying to warn other travelers who are trying to save a dollar. DO NOT COME HERE.
