The beds were comfortable, the rooms updated, and the customer service fantastic. The location worked well for our UP trip through the Keweenaw peninsula, Marquette, and Porcupine Mountains. I looked around carefully for places that would let my dog travel with us at an affordable price, and this has one of the best dog policies I've found. She's family, and we have her so she can come along, not stay at a boarder. My only small complaint is that the sheets felt a bit scratchy. I'm spoiled at home, so maybe that's standard. It wasn't enough to lower the rating. 10/10, I'd stay again.

The online check-in and room door code were convenient, and the restaurant next door had good food at a reasonable price. The room was nice and the location good. It took a long time for the hot water to warm up, but it was great once it did. I'd definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

Our updated room was pretty nice, and the place was dog friendly and easy to get to. We checked in and out online and didn't see anyone, so I can't say anything about the service.

I found this little place directly in Google Maps while traveling for work in early February, which isn't my choice of season for visiting the UP. Booking online was simple, and no-contact check-in was convenient. The room was excellent for what I needed: a very clean spot to rest, shower, and get ready for the next workday. It wasn't a vacation stop, just a convenient place to stay.
