I was glad I hadn’t paid yet. When I arrived, they told me my room was on the fourth floor, and the elevator was out of service. I said that wouldn’t work, and the employee told me, “Not his problem.” Other reviews say the elevator doesn’t work either. Don’t waste your time or money trying to stay here. The best part was seeing it in my rearview mirror.

The elevator stayed broken for the full two weeks, with no sign of repairs. Housekeeping skipped many days, nowhere near daily as claimed, and I found brown stains on the towels, wash rags, and sheets more than once. The first floor smelled like weed almost every evening even with no smoking signs up. I had to get my key card reactivated at the desk several times. They took cash, Cash App, or Zelle, but no cards. The Ethernet box worked when I checked in, then they turned it off after I started using it. It was somewhere to crash, but I wouldn’t return. It needs much better upkeep to be worth the stay.

They advertise breakfast, but all they serve is stale, dry cereal and bagels as hard as hockey pucks. There’s no hot breakfast like they claim. I’ve also found black mold behind the trim in several rooms. Staff can be pretty rude if you can get them off the phone long enough to help. The elevator slips between floors, sometimes dropping literally 2 ft, and it can get stuck too.

I stayed two nights for a quick getaway. On the second day, while we were away for a couple of hours, housekeeping came into my room after 4:00 pm and stole my wallet with $160.00 cash, two James Avery rings, my passport, credit cards, and my husband’s $1500 gun. I called the police and filed a report. I spoke with the manager Sam twice, but he basically did nothing. Other guests told me one man won’t let housekeeping into his room, and another woman said they tried to enter hers too, but her son was there and didn’t let them in. We’ll never stay here again. Getting hold of someone at the corporate office is a joke. If I could give it negative stars, I would. This place doesn’t deserve even one.
