Sonesta Essential La Porte

The location was convenient, and I really enjoyed my stay. The staff and owner were so sweet, friendly, and helpful. This was one of the cleanest and friendliest places I've stayed. I'd happily return and recommend it to others.

Jack was so kind and helpful, and a real joy to be around. The room was great and clean down to the details. Check-in was easy, and the staff were genuinely attentive and did more than we expected to meet our needs. We couldn't stop talking about how perfect the night felt, sleeping in such a comfortable bed with plenty of pillows.

My sister and I chose this hotel because it was close to my daughter, who lives nearby. We stayed six nights in September this year, and were so pleased to find the whole place was better than we expected. The spiral staircase is a beautiful feature. The staff made us feel welcome right away and pointed out nearby attractions and how far away they were. They also explained the hours for breakfast, the gym, and the pool. The dining room was inviting, with a good selection of hot and cold food each day, and staff kept everything replenished. Coffee was available all day. My sister used and loved the pool, and the gym was excellent. Our room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and even comfortable pillows, which isn't always the case in hotels. The cleaning staff were friendly and kept the hotel sparkling. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit my daughter. We found a real gem.

The breakfast had plenty beyond the usual waffle maker: eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, and more. A great way to start the day. The fitness center and indoor pool were handy extras for staying active while traveling. The room and shared areas were clean and well kept, and service was friendly and helpful throughout. It was comfortable, convenient, and good value. I'd stay again.
