We drove nearly four hours from San Diogo to visit on 17May2025, only to find the gate shut. Their website had no notice about a new visiting date or time. I emailed them and never heard back.

It feels like stepping into a magical oasis. One of the Valley’s most gorgeous palm groves!

Just so festival goers know, this is basically a fenced dirt lot with date trees. There’s a lot of sand and dust in the air, plus rats and insects. As a local, I wouldn’t recommend it for Coachella fest camping.

The festival entrance is only a five-minute walk away, and the place itself is beautiful. My friends and I plan to come back every year.
