Fairfield By Marriott Inn & Suites Olympia

We loved how easy everything was, from the warm welcome at check-in to the convenient nearby parking. The pool was heated and well kept, and the lobby and dining area felt clean and roomy. The hotel sits just off the freeway in a quiet, fairly new area among trees, with the library and a grocery store a short walk away. Our room was spacious and clean. Best stay my family and I have had around Lacey/Olympia, 10/10!

Breakfast each day had just the right range of good options, and we even had a pool to use. Our room was really comfortable, with a huge bathroom. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to help, making us feel looked after. I’d happily recommend them.

The room worked perfectly for our little family’s one-night getaway, and the grounds were very clean. Check-in was quick and the staff were pleasant. We did have to ask for an extra blanket, but got one without any trouble. The pool area could use attention: there was dirt or scum above the waterline with initials scratched into it, and shower water drained around the pool. That drain gave off a bad smell, as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We still enjoyed the stay.

This was our second stay, and we’ll be back. It makes a good stop on our trips south, with spotless rooms and consistently friendly staff. Breakfast has been good both times, with eggs, sausage, pancakes, yogurt, and more. The coffee could be better, though. We had an emergency this visit and couldn’t arrive on the planned check-in day, and we also needed to leave late. Our IHG membership helped with the late checkout, and manager Jeetu and the staff helped bring down our overall expenses. What stands out most is how warmly guests are treated. Sitting in reception, you see the staff having pleasant exchanges with people.
