Fairfield Inn & Suites Lafayette South

We spent three nights here for my daughter’s wedding and slept so well in the comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was great, and housekeeping was attentive. Justin and his whole team made the stay memorable by being so accommodating. The hotel itself was very nice, and I’ll definitely choose it again when I’m in town. Thanks so much, Justin and Staff!

The Riverview was such a peaceful, memorable part of my stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Lafayette South. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well cared for, and the team made the visit stand out. Lovie kept things welcoming and well managed overnight. In the afternoon, Danielle was friendly, professional, and ready to help. Danny, Barbra, and Ana on the morning team were warm and attentive, making sure guests were set for the day. Manager Justin clearly sets a strong example; his leadership shows in how smoothly things run, and he goes out of his way to make guests feel looked after. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Great staff, clean rooms, and a beautiful Riverview.

I checked out this morning after another stay, and I keep coming back because this is one of the best Fairfield properties I’ve been to. The staff, breakfast, and cleanliness are all top tier. I also witnessed the incident described in the review below mine. The account there is very different from what happened, and the guest involved was extremely rude. Justin dealt with it professionally. He’s great, and I’ll leave it at that.

The beds were comfortable, but I expected clean sheets after traveling more than six hours and paying almost $200 for one night. On one bed, the sheets looked slept in, with around 50 hairs and a light brown stain. The foldout couch’s linens were in poor shape too: the storage bag had just a flat sheet, balled up as if left by the previous guest. We requested extra linens and changed the sheets ourselves. The bedroom AC didn’t work. I told both the night and day desk staff, who said Justin would be notified and would call. Two days passed with no call. When I reached him on Monday, he said he needed to talk with his employees and would call back, but he never did. I expect more at these prices. Marriott needs to do better with hiring or train staff more in customer service and cleaning.
