The Guest House

The rooftop hot tub has a breathtaking view of the water, and the pool was a nice place to take it easy between activities. The Maui Guest House was a fantastic way for me, traveling from PA, to make a Maui trip affordable without giving up that Hawaiian paradise feeling. It’s well placed between downtown Lahaina and the beaches to the north. I stayed from 6/30/23-7/5/23. I’ll find a way back for another trip, and I’m looking forward to seeing the kind, accommodating staff again.

We’d definitely return and recommend this place to friends. The rooftop deck was just right for morning coffee, and the clean saltwater pool was refreshing. The hot tub was spotless and relaxing too. Our bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The host met us as we arrived, gave us a quick tour, and showed us to our room. They’ve thought of so much to make a stay easy: laundry, beach towels and chairs, sunscreen, a full kitchen, fresh coffee twice daily, and snorkeling gear for anyone who wanted it. Nothing felt lacking.

The large patio deck had lounge chairs, a small pool, a barbecue, and excellent parking right out front. The rooms were cleaned daily, and Heather and John were helpful throughout, taking care of on-site duties and maintenance and sharing their knowledge of places to visit on Maui. We really enjoyed our vacation at Maui Guest House. It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities, a short drive from Lahaina, and close to shops, groceries, and beaches. We’d highly recommend it for a comfortable vacation.

Much mahalo to John, Heather, Brooke and Barb! The staff know the island and its best places to visit, and they went far beyond what we needed during our Hawaii vacation. The rooms were cleaned and serviced every day, spotless when we got back after being out. Maui Guest house has the best staff of any hotel, BnB, or resort I’ve stayed at. I’ll definitely stay here again.
