Being right on Lake Brownwood was the one bright spot. Inside, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable, the toilet paper hadn't been replenished, and the coffee pot still had dirty old water in it. There were holes in the inside top of the microwave, too. The pool was closed and looked green with algae. I wouldn't recommend spending your money to stay here.

The lake view was amazing, and you can fish there too. My husband and I had a great first stay. The staff were really nice and attentive to what we needed, and our room was clean and comfortable. We'd definitely come back, and recommend this hotel.

The morning view of the lake was refreshing, and the two cute cats outside were friendly and let me pet them. I stayed in room 106 with my dad while we were visiting family nearby. The room was clean, and the woman in the office seemed nice. My two gripes were the uncomfortable beds and no counter or shelf in the bathroom, so the toilet was the only place to put clothes while showering. It was good enough for us and did what we needed. Just don't expect a Hilton! :)

The owners were great and very accommodating. This is an excellent waterfront hotel, honestly one of the best places you could stay anywhere, and definitely the best in this county. Seriously, make a point of staying here, it's amazing! See my pictures.
