On 1/25/25, I called to reserve a room in the Krewe de la Noblesse block. The woman took my details, repeated the correct dates, 2/14-2/16, three times, and confirmed my phone number. No confirmation email came, but that had also happened in the previous three years, so I didn't think much of it. When we returned from lunch on 2/15, our belongings had been packed up and removed from the room. Staff said I was meant to check out that day, even though we were there with Krewe de la Noblesse, which had a block for the whole weekend. It took two hours to find another hotel. After unpacking there, I realized my new $200 perfume was missing from inside a toiletry bag. It had been taken while housekeeping packed our things, not simply left behind. The Krewe, the Bureau of Tourism, and corporate have all been notified. I'm extremely disappointed with the service, and theft is unacceptable. As of 2/4/26, corporate still hadn't tried to resolve any of it.

After driving five hours for my husband's Christmas party at a casino down the road, I had a meltdown over my outfit and left for the party. That's when I realized I'd left my I.D. at the hotel, which I needed to drink and gamble. I called the front desk and hoped for the best. Mo, who was working there, went through my huge, very messy purse to find it. Instead of putting it on the next shuttle, Mo got Melissa, the housekeeping supervisor, to drive my I.D. to the casino herself. My husband wasn't going to leave the party, and I didn't want to ride back to the hotel alone, half drunk, in an unfamiliar city. These women saved my night. If someone from the company reads this, give them a raise. They went way above and beyond for me and deserve recognition. Thank you both, y'all are the best!

The front desk employee was very polite and professional when we reported the problems, apologized, and moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the replacement wasn't much better. The jets in the jetted tub were nasty and didn't look like they'd ever been cleaned, and the shower was in poor shape too, so we didn't bathe or shower. In the Presidential Suite we first got, the TV hung sideways off the wall, the shower door wouldn't fully close, and the room was freezing. The microwave also wouldn't open after we heated dinner from Olive Garden. We paid a lot for an uncomfortable bed and would have been better off at Motel 6 for a third of the price. We're gold members, but after this experience we'll stay elsewhere on future trips.

The entry area looked nicer than the rooms. It's an older hotel that could use remodeling and more attention to cleanliness, though it wasn't what I'd call dirty overall. One corner of the sheet had a few tiny black hairs and looked unclean, which was disgusting, but I checked the rest of the sheet and mattress and they seemed clean. The bathroom sheet rock was damaged, and we saw a roach on the floor in the breakfast area by our table. It cost $115 after taxes, compared with $200 or more at other hotels, so I can't complain too much.
