Hampton Inn & Suites Lake City Hotel

Rooms were great and breakfast was good too. Rona and Lyndsey deserve more than five stars. We arrived early, and they were incredibly accommodating, even with renovations going on. Their friendly, hospitable welcome was exactly what you want when you’re hours from home and need somewhere to stay. This was one of my top 10 stays for service. Everyone else we met on staff was also extremely friendly and helpful, though I didn’t get all their names. Way to go, Lake City Hampton Inn & Suites!

The breakfast was excellent, especially the women serving it, and the room was great. The place was bright and clean, either recently built or renovated. There’s a nice pool and fitness center, plus electric car charging. I’ll happily stay there again.

Kat was five-star all the way, delightful to deal with, helpful, friendly, and great at customer service. The staff were very friendly too, and you could tell they were doing their best. The hotel was clean, with no bugs or dirt. There were still several hassles. The elevator was wildly slow, taking about three minutes between floors, and it was freezing inside, with staff and others wearing coats. The hotel was under renovation, but there were no room discounts and some other inconveniences weren’t addressed. Finding the place was incredibly challenging: GPS sends you back onto the highway, the road has no name as you approach, and although you can see the hotel from the highway, it becomes invisible once you exit. My day was great, but the hotel should either lower its prices or get up to par.

I enjoyed my stay and would come back. The room was super clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful, and breakfast was good and hot. I’d give it five stars, except the shower was a little small. Maybe I’m just spoiled.
