It used to be a great vacation place, and my family went to Kathys for years, though not in the last 5-6 years. With new owners Maggie and her husband, I’m not sure it’s worth going anymore. I called 7+ times before Maggie finally answered and took my deposit, saying she’d send confirmation that day. It never came. Since then, nobody has answered the business phone, and my 3-4 messages haven’t been returned. The unit pricing list is still dated 2024, and the website won’t let you make reservations. It’s an extremely unprofessional way to run a business. Too bad, it used to be a nice place.

Maggie made check-in a great start, responding warmly and attentively and going out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. The cabin was spacious and very clean. I stayed with my daughter and grandchildren, who loved the pool, basketball, and spending time with their cousins. Maggie and Ken were always around with fresh towels or answers to our questions. We were there from 8/12-8/19, and my grandson is already talking about coming back. I highly recommend it.

My wife and three kids had an amazing time at Kathy's Cottages. The grounds and pool were impeccably neat, and our cottage was immaculate and comfortable. Maggie and her husband were super friendly and helped with whatever we needed. It’s become our new favorite place in Lake George, and we’ll definitely come back, maybe even this winter. Everyone will love it.

We rented four cottages for a week of family fun with 17 adults and 2 kids. Everything was clean and fully equipped for our needs, and whenever we needed help, someone at the office was there for us. Maggie and her family are welcoming and helpful. This was our second stay, and we’ll be back. A hidden treasure in Lake George. Check them out. The Baksh Family

The service and positive energy really topped off our stay. It was a lovely experience, and the place was very kid friendly. Our cottage was clean and well kept, the grounds were beautiful, and we all loved the pool.
