The room was pretty nice, but the neighbors were loud. The parking lot was dreadful, too, with more cars than rooms and very tight spaces on a steep hill. My son got a black eye from the TV. It’s mounted at head level just to the right as you come out of the restroom, so watch out. If you have a boat, this place really didn’t work for us. My wife missed the fine print: the lake channel isn’t a no-wake zone, so the boat takes a beating at the dock. The owner wouldn’t refund our stay, so we stayed here but also rented a room at the Doubletree, which has a boat launch ramp. The owners suggested the public launch ramp, but it’s literally on the other side of the lake.

The house was clean and close to plenty of restaurants and things to do, and I’d definitely stay again. We also had access to a garage, which the host let us open and close remotely with a Mobil app.

Brande was amazing. Our reservation had a small mix-up, and she fixed it right away with a smile. She was more efficient, personal, and hands-on than anyone I’ve encountered at other places I’ve stayed. The staff treated us like loved ones, and everyone I met was ready to help and offer suggestions to make the stay enjoyable. The room was great, with a wonderful lake view. The grounds were nicely landscaped and maintained, with good lighting along the paths to the lake decks. The location felt so secure that I didn’t lock the doors while loading and unloading my car.

For a 2 star resort, it had everything we needed. The rooms had been modernized, though the building itself felt a bit dated. We had a nice view of the busy water channel.

The place was clean and nicely decorated, with a lovely view of the lake. Restaurants and attractions are close by.
