Super 8 Hot Springs

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a relaxed, welcoming hotel that delivers the basics well for a three-star property. The location made our trip easy: close to the historic downtown and Bathhouse Row, but away from the thick of the tourist traffic. Shops, restaurants, and bathhouses were convenient to visit, and the lake, national park, and other parts of Hot Springs were only a short drive away. It's not a luxury resort, but it was a reliable, good-value base for exploring. I'd stay here again.

I felt misled because what was advertised didn't match what I found. After arriving and seeing heaps of trash bags and loose rubbish left by cars, the staff interaction was the last straw. I contacted Booking, and they offered to find me somewhere else, saying I wasn't the first person to reach out. I'd read reviews on multiple platforms and spoken with several OTAs because I was concerned about the surprise $100 deposit. It seemed other guests had reported being charged for things they hadn't done. Be aware of that. I'm not picky and only need basic amenities, but the hotel's apparent management failures felt deceptive. The reviews will tell you more. Some guests may be easily pleased, but I believe most people would find better options to improve their visit to beautiful Hot Springs, AR.

We were on a road trip and hadn't booked ahead, so we walked in around 9 pm to ask if there was a room. Luckily, one was available. The person we spoke with, who we think was the owner, answered our questions about availability and rates, which were reasonable. When we asked about nearby restaurants still open, he looked one up for us and said we could go eat first while he'd hold the room and quoted rate. He kept his word even though the shift changed, and the next employee was helpful too. The room was in good, perfectly serviceable condition. Breakfast wasn't amazing, but at that rate I wouldn't count it against the place. Bathhouse Row is nearby, making this a reasonably priced place to stay for a visit to Hot Springs National Park. My rating mostly reflects how considerate and helpful the staff were.

I stayed here for five nights and was very happy with the place. The room was clean, and staff came by to clean every two days. Free coffee was available around the clock, and the included breakfast had especially fresh apples. There were lots of movies and TV shows to watch in the room at no charge, which came in handy when bad weather kept us inside.
