Lake Harmony Inn

We had a really fun weekend, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There are several restaurants within walking distance: Shenanigans was great for dinner, Piggy’s Restaurant had delicious breakfast, and we also enjoyed dinner and drinks at Nick's Lake House. Boulder Creek Lodge is right next door, where we went snow tubing. We’ll definitely come back. We booked this last-minute Valentine’s getaway with my husband. The inn is right on the lake, which was frozen and made the view even cooler. Our room was small but clean, cute, and cozy, with fairly comfortable beds. The Smart TV let us use our own streaming accounts, a nice extra. The walls are a little thin, but it was still a great spot for a weekend.

Booked this at the last minute for a ski trip and had a great stay from start to finish. The beds were plush and super comfortable, and the inn’s charm and decor were lovely. It’s in a fantastic location and reasonably priced. Customer service was fantastic too, which feels rare these days. Someone in our group left an item in the room and had to come back for it later, and that was handled well.

The rooms are comfortable, and the outdoor amenities feel thoughtfully arranged. We’ve stayed twice over the past year, once in summer and once in winter, and enjoyed both visits. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the neighbors next door, and the pillows could use an upgrade. We keep this place in mind whenever we come to the Poconos.

We’re retirees and found the quietest time for us was after Memorial Day but before school lets out. Outside that period, there’s lots for kids to do, and the property has lodging for couples as well as larger families. Book early. We’ve decided to make it an annual trip now that we know how things work. The place is peaceful, well lit, and has ample parking. The rooms are small, simple, clean, and fresh. There are hanging flower pots that look lovely, though taller guests might bump their heads if they’re over 5 feet. You only pay for what you need. Light watercraft can be rented for the day for a per-person fee, and you just call or text to arrange it with the dock attendant. There’s also a game room, yard games for any weather, and grills and gazebos for cooking your own food. Two popular breakfast and lunch places and two dinner restaurants are just a minute’s walk away, for midrange or higher budgets. Service is attentive. Check-in is handled by phone through a Remote Desk rather than a regular front desk, which can be confusing the first time, but the service is top notch. They do a nice job decorating, too.
