The room still looked partly under renovation, and much of the building seemed abandoned, with renovation junk lying around. The manager opened our door without knocking just minutes after we checked in. In the bathroom, the door wouldn't latch, the tub had a large black stain by the faucet, and there were no toiletries beyond two little bars of soap. The sheets had yellow marks and small holes, and the pillows were uncomfortable. We asked for clean sheets but got another set with mold stains, so we ended up buying our own. There were little dead bugs piled behind the nightstand, and two flying ant-like bugs disrupted our stay. One got into our sleep, which was not great.

I didn't stay. The place looked deserted and unsafe, with appliances, mattresses, and other things sitting outside while most rooms seemed to be under renovation. It was clearly a work in progress. One guest I saw didn't look well. It could be amazing when finished. Maybe a man on his own would be fine if he got one of the remodeled rooms.

The front desk staff were extremely nice and helped whenever I needed anything. I stayed for a month, and the rooms were new and very clean. The location and price worked perfectly for me. I'll stay there again when I'm back in Lake Jackson, Texas.

I stay here every week. The remodeled rooms are fully upgraded, and the service is exceptional. The rates are phenomenally good.
