Our older room at Fairways could use a lot of care, but we still had a great time. It was clean and comfortable, right on the golf course and near the swimming pool. We came to hike and found plenty of trails to choose from. We'll be back!

A comfortable place for a Lake Lure trip, with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. If you golf at Apple Valley golf course, the condo sits right on the course and the back deck looks out over one of the greens. It's also not far from Lake Lure.

I wish I could give it 10 stars. My family and I spent a week here in March 2024, and everything was great. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the property is beautiful. The mountains were majestic, and even the drives around were peaceful and fun. The pool and jacuzzi were clean, and there's a steam cabin inside the building. Thanks to the management. Visiting North Carolina has always been a dream of mine, and I loved our stay. ❤️

The location has potential, but the property needs upgrades and much better pest control. I saw some of the biggest cockroaches I've ever come across. The cable TV also didn't work, and with everything nearby closed, we felt pretty limited. There weren't trails or other places to walk and get outside. Check-in was a hassle: first one place for the room, then another for pool passes, and then on to the condo. You have to return the keys to the original check-in spot too, or you'll be charged. I hope they sort these things out for future guests.
